Battlefield 2042 Announced

   Today fans of the Battlefield series got a lengthy look at DICE's upcoming installment, Battlefield 2042. Interesting considering past games in the franchise include "1942" and "2142". The trailer is impressive and has me excited to play a Battlefield game again. The game will feature modes and gameplay mechanics fans would expect, but also introduces dynamic weather, destruction and futuristic inspired weapons and vehicles. Throughout the reveal are nods to moments any player has experienced while playing an online multiplayer match, which fans will appreciate. The player count will increase to 128 on PS5, Xbox Series X and PC but stays at 64 on PS4 and Xbox One. The next generation of all-out war starts October 20, 2021.
