Community FEATURE - Tomodachi

   Tomodachi is a great little sushi bar and restaurant located off of the 805 freeway in Chula Vista, California. Although it is easy to miss and pass by, this place serves up excellent raw and cooked Japanese style cuisine. The inside features a sit down bar right next to the highly talented chefs, and has plenty of cushioned booths all around the sides of the restaurant. There is even a small area for children to play and have fun while the adults watch and wait for their delicious meals. Atmosphere inside is very calm, cozy and welcoming. The walls are decorated with old replicas and painting from the older Japanese era. The hosts are friendly, kind and are prompt to get you into a comfortable spot for the night. The entire staff does an great job of making should you do not go a minute without being checked on or catered for.
